This policy explains what personal data SIA X-Agro processes when you visit xagro.lv or contact us, why we do so, and what your rights are. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Latvian law. The Latvian version of this policy prevails.
1. Controller
The controller of your personal data is SIA "X-agro", registration No. 43603061869, registered address: Brīvības bulvāris 28-8, Jelgava, LV-3004, Latvia.

2. What data we process and why
Contact by phone and email
When you contact us, we process the name, phone number, email address, company name and message content you provide.
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, provide a service, sell machinery or provide after-sales support.
- Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Retention: as long as needed for the communication. If a transaction takes place, related documents are kept for the periods required by law (e.g. the Latvian Accounting Law).
Technical website data
When you open the website, the hosting server automatically logs technical information: IP address, browser type, requested page and time.
- Purpose: to operate and secure the website and to prevent errors and abuse.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: briefly, according to the hosting provider’s log retention settings.
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
Only if you have given consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how to improve the website. This involves a pseudonymous identifier, pages visited, clicks on phone and email links, device and browser type, and approximate location (country/city). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Retention: Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
- Recipient: Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; such transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Advertising features and Google signals are not used, and the data is not used to personalise ads.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Analytics cookies are only set after you click “Accept”. If you click “Reject”, they are not used.

4. Recipients
We do not sell your data. It may only be accessed by:
- our service providers processing data on our behalf: website hosting, email, IT support and accounting;
- Google Ireland Limited, if you have consented to analytics;
- public authorities where required by law.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- request erasure or restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate: www.dvi.gov.lv.
6. Automated decision-making
We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling that produces legal effects for you.
