SAMSON

Three platforms. One SAMSON approach.

SAMSON machines have been tested and used in real working conditions for decades. Field and test results are documented and used to continuously refine the machine design, spreading systems and control technology.

SAMSON SP Ultimate manure spreader SP ULTIMATE

SP Ultimate

SP Ultimate is designed for heavy manure, composted material and material with a high straw content, maintaining consistent material flow and an even spread pattern in demanding conditions.

  • low centre of gravity and very low loading height;
  • two vertical beaters with an even spread pattern and application rates of approximately 4–70 t/ha;
  • wide-spreading equipment also allows work with compost, sludge, ash and lime.

LONG SERVICE LIFE

Designed for long working days and high annual workloads.

Long service life is achieved through proven design solutions, high-quality materials and long-term experience in real operating conditions.

Long-term validation Design solutions are validated through long-term field use.
Working components Components are designed for stable operation with high material volumes.
Service life Materials and construction are designed for long-term use.
Maintenance Thoughtful design helps reduce unnecessary wear and downtime.

PRECISE SPREADING

Even spreading across the full working width.

Decades of development in beater geometry, material flow, weighing and automatic rate control help maintain a consistent application rate across materials, travel speeds and working conditions.

APPLICATION AND PRECISION SYSTEMS

Five levels of rate control and weighing.

The configuration determines how application rate is controlled, how weighing is performed and how prescription maps are used.

01

No weighing

Automatic application rate control based on forward speed, without weighing.

02

Volumetric

Automatic volumetric rate control with electronic control of the metering gate position.

03

Static

Static weighing, load recording and application-rate calibration based on actual weight.

04

Static + Maps

Static weighing with automatic application-rate changes based on prescription maps.

05

Dynamic + Maps

Dynamic weighing with continuous monitoring of actual material flow and automatic correction, including when material density changes.

PICHON MK

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SYSTEM

Two brands. Two approaches to the right result.

Capacity is only one part of the choice. Material, required working width, annual tonnage, tractor power and the desired level of automation all matter.

Selection criterion SAMSON PICHON
Main advantage Maximum precision, productivity and control. Strong price-to-performance ratio and fully galvanised construction.
Technology level From straightforward control to dynamic weighing, ISOBUS and prescription maps. From a straightforward working machine to DPA, weighing, ISOBUS and variable-rate application.
Design approach High-strength steel, optimised weight and solutions for intensive use. Fully galvanised heavy-duty platform with a broad choice of chassis and equipment.
Best suited to Operations where every tonne, hour and hectare needs to be optimised as precisely as possible. Operations looking for versatile, more straightforward machinery with a lower initial investment.

EFFICIENT SPREADING

Even spreading. Lower cost per tonne applied.

The SAMSON and PICHON ranges make it possible to match the system to the material, workload and required level of precision. Less over-application. Less downtime. More accurate rates. Strong residual value.
